Guests consistently praise the spacious and comfortable rooms at Wildlife Retreat, some even waking up to the delightful sight of red kangaroos or a koala right outside their window. The hotel's location offers stunning views, with easy access to both smaller beaches featuring Sydney Harbour views and the charming cafes and shops of Mosman. some issues with the room and noise

excellent front deskbad soundproofingstrange layout
the staff there was very good at the front desk, i will give them that.
the soundproofing was really bad in the room. i could hear every noise other people make, such as those walking to the bathroom. the room size was small and the layout strange, especially with no place for a second suitcase.

inadequate minibarfalse alarm
The minibar failed to cool items adequately. I had some drinks in there but they stayed warm. I got woken at 4:45 AM because of a fire alarm. Apparently, it was a false alarm and staff were apologetic, but that does not help with the loss of sleep.

poor soundproofingsmall room
The room's soundproofing was BAD. I stayed on the ground floor and could hear every noise. People walked to the bathroom. I only slept for two hours because of this. The animal part of the animal view room was not worth it. The room was too small and had a weird layout. There was nowhere to put my second suitcase.
